Daniel, Correct as always, however.
You can shut down the exchange services (which obviously affects Exchange availability) and perform a Diskeeper defrag on the volumes if the exchange databases are shared with other files. This will organise the files in a contiguous manner, including the Exchange databases, but will not touch the internal content of the files. The problem that can arise with this is that as the exchange databases start to grow, they will immediately become "externally" fragmented, i.e. multiple file segments, as opposed to "internally" fragmented - what the exchange defrag process fixes.
