Well, using the ADC as an interorg tool I don't believe you are going to get PFs to replicate , nor calendar data. However, having Domain accounts in a separate forest from where the Exchange servers exist is a supported configuration... Then all they'd have to worry about is e-mail policies forced on them by the parent, they could continue to have their own Windows policies. Still, seems like a bit of a PITA.
