Yup, Network Courier was the original DOS based MSMail before Microsoft
got hold of it (obviously it wasn't called MSMail then).

Thanks again John, however MS Mail was first developed for the Mac in
1987.

Do you know where Network Courier fit into this equation?  Did MS
purchase Network Courier and repackage it as MS Mail for the Mac, or was
this done somewhere later down the line.
