Fair enough -- here's what we do: Once a quarter, perform offline integrity check via eseutil. Twice a year, perform offline defrag via eseutil. Really nothing more than what some people recommend. Sure, some people don't feel comfortable with offline maintenance, but our usage trends pretty much require it every so often to get rid of all the dead space. And yes, we keep backup copies of the databases just in case we break something. :)
