your total number is around the same as two of my main offices. we have two offices that implement resource scheduling/automatic booking in this manner - both have 150 users or more in each location.
limiting who can modify/update meetings to just the executive admins has worked out well. we used to use the autoaccept script in one location and actually had two people who just maintained a public folder calendar in the other location. both sets of users have migrated nicely to the autoaccept that's built in to the new mapi client. users will be assimilated! good luck, J -----Original Message----- From: Jeffrey G. As long as a user has accepted meeting request, they can double click the meeting in their own calendar and tell who booked the meeting. Granting permissions to modify/update meetings to just a select few takes care of headaches you might see if all users had this ability. An no, you can't publish a mbx'es calendar to a public folder. How big is your environment? -----Original Message----- From: Jeffrey G. I know that it will come up within an hour of telling everyone to start using the exchange server for booking conference rooms. I do not want to confuse users with the file open open another calendar option. As users create new appt requests, then assign the room mbx as a resource, they should see an 'Attendee Availability' tab on the new meeting request. As long as you have free/busy published for this mailbox, users should be able to see when free time is available for the room. -----Original Message----- From: Jeffrey G. I have set up our conference rooms as users in E2K SP2. I set the resource scheduling options to auto accept meeting requests, Deny conflicts and deny reoccuring meetings. The problem I am having is how do I make the information about who has the room booked? I would also like to send back a link to veiw this conference room schedule when a meeting gets declined. I have looked at some of the auto accept scripts but they are only for Exchange 5.5.
