I was told by MS that it was free but I had to hire Microsoft Consulting Services in order to use it. I need to sync several databases including AD and it sounded like a good way of doing it. Unfortunately, the salesperson from MS I talked to wanted to turn it in to some huge project including a reporting module and something to do with BizTalk - it sounded extremely expensive. Luckily she never called back. We are now thinking about hiring a full time programmer to tackle this and several other little projects we have.
