I am running exchange 5.5 service pack 4 on NT4 server. We have just acquired an external storage system and a new drive letter is mapped to my exchange server pointing at this new storage system with up to 40g assigned for exchange .
I now want to move my exchange database from the current location on drive d: to the new location which is drive E: I intend using the performance optimizer tool, are there any issues involved in moving the database from a local drive on the current server to an external storage system.
