Chris

Thanks again for your help we found that the users profile does not seem to update
properly when looking in the registry. If you move a user from server A to Server B
and then remove Server A. The profile does not update for delegate access. As you said
if you manually refresh the delegate it refreshes the registry. You can manually
modify the registry by putting in the new server name.

The other problem is you can do a find using a txt string.

Please find reg location for information purposes if it interests you.

Dunno the exact cause (it's an Outlook thing and I've been trying to unlearn
Outlook for 4 years now), but it's one of those caching issues. It's known
in that I knew about it, Microsoft might even too... Don't believe there's a
fix other than perhaps a command line switch or registry setting to clear
the cached entries for users entirely.

You are right and have hit the nail on the head. The question I would like
to know is what has caused this problem and is this a known bug or problem
our users are experiencing.

Thanks

They are using the cached list of mailboxes/folders? What happens if they
reselect the name/address from the GAL?

User Group

Can any one help please we are getting the error above when a user tries to
open another users mailbox that they have been previously been able to open.

We have seen a lot of instances of this happening. The only thing that we
know that has changed is that we de-commissioned some old Exchange servers
including the first Exchange server in the domain. The users have been moved

for some time. We have followed all the instructions for removing the first
Exchange server. We know if we delete the users Outlook profile and then try

and open the delegate mailbox, this will work. We are trying to find what
has caused this problem and is anyone aware of this problem.
