  Well, I suppose if nobody in your organization used any of the features of
MS-Word (vs what you get with Notepad), it would be pretty silly to spend
all that money on it.  But most people I know use plenty of the "extra"  
features of Word.  I find that's not so with HTML email.

  Of course, I'm a function-over-form kinda guy; maybe you like getting
email with multi-colored backgrounds and dancing hamsters and such.  More
power to you.  :-)
