It's ok to be a newbie but it's not OK to play stupid.

If someone is not clever enough or to lazy or whatever_you_want_to_call_it to do a search on google or on a knowledgebase then how do they have the guts to come to a list where ppl are who have spend time to educate themselves and ask questions one could easily answer with google or the knowledgebase.
If you don't know how to search then you're not worth to be an admin; instead you should hire someone.

Sometimes you just can't find an answer, lists like these are very good resources if you're dead in the water. But not before you did as much as possible to find an answer yourself. And even then you could have hit an unique bug and no one can help you..
That only happened to me once and I found a way to solve the problem on my own.

You really need to read the information you will find here:

Some will even rise to the occasion to defend hazing. Even very smart people do this, including doctors that defend 36 hour shifts for interns, and then have the temerity to complain about the high cost of mal practice insurance or "unfair" tort awards. But I digress.

Call it lazy if you like. But a kind pointer to someone in need costs little and gains much.
