Well Rachel, Christopher, thanks for the pointers, something for me to bare in mind.
I guess I shall try not to use the backups of the M drive to do restores, apart from in cases like this, which I would have been able to restore all the .EML files to my computer and dragged them into the public folder calendar through outlook. Perhaps a dodgy way, but would have worked none the less, as it stands I have angry people on my case :( -----Original Message----- From: Rachel Pickens [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: 02 June 2003 17:07 To: Exchange Discussions Subject: RE: Backing up the M Drive Microsoft Knowledge Base Article - 258243 XADM: How to Back Up and Restore an Exchange 2000 Server Computer by Using the Windows Backup Program Note Microsoft does not recommend or support backing up drive M with file-level backup software. _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Web Interface: http://intm-dl.sparklist.com/cgi-bin/lyris.pl?enter=exchange&text_mode=& lang=english To unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED] _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Web Interface: http://intm-dl.sparklist.com/cgi-bin/lyris.pl?enter=exchange&text_mode=&lang=english To unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
