All messages that comes into Office 365 ... via Office 365 ... is filtered for 
spam.

If you still have your MX pointed to an on-premises server - that's what is 
causing the added spam.

We have a mail enabled public folder that is a member of a public facing 
distribution group.  Since our conversion to Office 365, it has been receiving 
a growing amount of spam.  Is there any way to set up mail filtering for public 
folders or distribution groups?  Thanks & Happy New Year!
