Version of Outlook? I am commonly seeing this behavior with 2007. Getting a
little red X instead of a graphic. Sometimes, when I scroll, and then scroll
back, the graphic(s) will magically appear. I have heard, but cannot verify,
that this behavior is because of Word's imperfect grasp of HTML. Earlier
versions used the IE engine to interpret HTML, so you may also wish to look
at the IE settings, if it is pre-2007 Outlook.

I have a user that is unable to see pictures with messages formatted in
HTML. I've already...

1. Opened Outlook.

2. Click TOOLS.

3. Selected OPTIONS.

4. Clicked SECURITY.

5. Clicked CHANGE AUTOMATIC DOWNLOAD SETTINGS.

6. Unchecked everything.

7. Clicked OK twice.

It didn't help. Odd.
