> Thank you Jeremy, I think we can get sa-exim working again. I have tried with the released 4.99-5 and 4.99-6. Both times I get in my log P=esmtps temporarily rejected by local_scan(): Local configuration error - local_scan() library failure\n/usr/lib/exim4/local_scan/sa-exim.so: undefined symbol: expand_string I am not sure if the error is mine here, but downgrading back to 4.98 helps. Now obviously I don't know what I am writing about here, but let me note that since we have had issues with sa-exim already in 2019, maybe it is time to drop it? I use it for ease of configuration, but the limits could also be put into update-exim.conf.conf. Saving the spam somewhere can be done in the exim configuration. The only thing I am not sure exim4 does out of the box is tarpitting. I did this quite a lot and believe---without evidence---I have been blocklisted by spammers as a result. While this crisis is going on, I have been looking into replacing spamassassin with rspamd. I have not found some sort of boiler-plate interaction guidelines with exim. I understand that rspamd can be made to run with exim. I suspect one could write a exim configuration for debian that would check if rspamd is installed, via checking a file, and then use that, otherwise use spamassassin. If I can be useful with anything let me know. -- Written by Thomas Krichel http://openlib.org/home/krichel on his 22094th day. -- ## subscription configuration (requires account): ## https://lists.exim.org/mailman3/postorius/lists/exim-users.lists.exim.org/ ## unsubscribe (doesn't require an account): ## [email protected] ## Exim details at http://www.exim.org/ ## Please use the Wiki with this list - http://wiki.exim.org/
