I am sad to note that no update to sa-exim seems to be available.
I installed sa-exim manually via dpkg -i. It seemed to work with exim4
for a while but it no longer can be done. Now I have no spam defense,
but still few spam coming in. I attribute this to fighting back for
  years with tarpitting using sa-axim.

I have no competence in this area at all. I last looked at C
  code in the late 1980s.

Again, this does not seem realistic to me doing it. Is there any
document somewhere that could show how I could mimic sa-exim, in
particular saving temprejects, permrejects and tarpitted email in
  various directories and implement tarpitting?
