this is going to sound dumb, but did you ask your (UK) Embassy as to having a second (conflict) passport?
the U.S. Embassy (Citizen Services) do it in 10 or is it 20 b.days, but it's not much of a problem. generally, i suspect that your embassy does have a procedure, and you have to get a letter from your employer that you travel and need a second document. as to "express services", be very careful, the fact that you get your passport back with a stamp doesn't mean that the work was done. they may have and often do just forge the document and stamp, very common for registrations. it is best practices to check with FMS that your visa actually exists and was registered, otherwise you can wind up on the wrong side of the UK (the laws, not the country). adding to the tragedy of the Camden Town fire, one of the quotes: "I've never seen a fire spread that fast," said Ross Smith, 28, who works for a local tattoo parlour. "It was licking up the buildings." Jeez, why not just speak English? _______________________________________________ Expat mailing list [email protected] http://www.lists.ru/mailman/listinfo/expat http://www.expat.ru/forum/
