Hello, I am taking a United flight from New York to Moscow and then changing to S7 airlines to go to Moldova. Since they are two different airlines, my baggage will not be checked through to Moldova — I will have to pick it up in Moscow. Is there any way to do this at Domodedovo airport without going through immigration? On the airport's website, this is all the information provided:" Any luggage checked through to the final destination at the departure airport will be processed automatically. If your luggage is checked to Domodedovo, please notify the transfer agent."
I am wondering if "notify the transfer agent" means this is possible. Does anyone have any experience with this? Thanks! Jessica
