To all: I apologize for my previous message.  It turns out I was wrong,
there is no exemption for spouses of citizens.   Although technically I
think there are enough international treaty rights involved that they really
couldn't kick out the spouse of a Russian citizen for failing the language
test.

I think if you are married to a Russian the Russian language requirement
does not apply to you.

As an Expat living in Russia, with my wife and 2 children I have a 5 year
resident permit, as som of you maybe aware the lawhas just changed as of 1
Jan 2015 we have to pass a basic accredited Russian language exam to renew
it. Does anyone know this about the name of this exam and who teaches it, I
have 1 year to to it. I work as  a teacher of English in a private school.
