Hi Everyone,

I am rather new in Moscow, I had same problem and I was on search of bank, I
choose my bank based on availability of ATM machines (Bankomat)

If was choose based on Language I would have choose Raiffisen or Credit Europe
bank but I pick Sberbank, it has ATM everywhere and its IPhone application very
useful even though not in English

It is really shame for Russia, even the biggest bank of Russia doesn’t have
English webpage (their English page very limited, almost nothing)

Kind Regards,

I’ve been very satisfied with Raiffeisen. Their online platform for local
payments & sending money domestically & overseas works very well & has a
responsive support service. I use their premium banking service which provides
a higher level of customer support & access to additional services & a few
perks. My overseas bank is HSBC (who welcome Russians in UK with open arms but
seem to think ex-pats here are launderers & or thieves) & I can honestly say
Raiffeisen outperforms them on just about all criteria.

With Regards

John

I've been with Unicredit Bank since they entered the Russian market - Unicredit
took over the International Moscow Bank which used to be the Bank of Austria.
I've been with them since the late nineties and have never had a problem in all
of those years. Incidentally, the Bank of Austria was one of the few banks to
protect their depositor's money during the crisis of 1998.

They are professional with me - all types of transfers including international
ones are all done online with a very modest fee. Perhaps others haven't had
the same experience but I'm very happy with them.

My own experience with Unicredit Bank has been pretty awful. Their online
banking system is preposterously poorly written and difficult to use, with a
hopelessly bad helpline. Alfa Bank has been better╜
