Thanks. I'll try that.
But now I have another problem (sigh!). By default, the floppy icon on
the desktop only seems to mount disks that are DOS and not ext2. I went
into Properties for Floppy and tried to change it to no avail. I can open
all DOS and Windows diskettes but not my Linux formatted ones. I can't
even mount my Linux Boot floppy (and it's working since that is what I use
to boot the system). Shouldn't the Floppy by default open Linux formats
rather than DOS/Windows?
Do I have to make another icon for Linux floppy's?
Before Mandrake I had Red Hat 5.2 with a downloaded KDE 1.1 and the Floppy
was able to read all my Linux diskettes. How can I disable this Mandrake
"feature"?
Thanks.
