I'm trying to install Mandrake 6 on a laptop but it crashes every time at the mouse probing stage. It says 'probing found some type of PS/2 on port ps aux' then hangs and can only be restarted with a hard reset. The same cd has been used to install M6 on 3 or 4 other machines. RedHat 5.1 and RedHat 5.2 go in no bother. I have tried disabling the mouse in the BIOS. I've been through all the mail archives and tried the newbie mailing list, and now have run out of ideas. Any help would be really appreciated. Cheers, Dan
