I have installed both Mandrake 5.3, as well as 6.0 on my compaq presario laptop.
It has a pentium 120, and IDE cdrom, the installation was flawless, only problem
I have is I can only do 8bit colors in KDE, or shadows will stay on the desktop
when I minimize windows. other than that it has been very stable, add staroffice,
and you might no even need to dual boot (=
