I am thinking this must be hardware-related?

I have no idea what is causing this crashing. I tried 2.2.10, I tried
2.2.10mdk33. same thing. I am tempted to go back to 2.0.36 but I have a
feeling it wont make any difference..
The system is a p2-300, 256MB ram, asus p2 motherboard, 8 ide drives with a
promise IDE controller, an ultra2 baracuda 9LP, buslogic bt958 scsi adapter,
3c905B nic using 100BaseTx, and some ISA video card. System crashes at least
once every few days, and I have no idea why!
I am stumped. any suggestions?
