Thanx. It appeared to be not my card. S3V == S3Virge !=S3Trio64V+.
Also I don't know for sure about the original Venus release, I use Linux
Mandrake 6.0 Russian Edition from IPLabs (www.iplabs.ru), but in my release
X server for S3Trio is a bit buggy... It has some screen problems at
1024x768. It's advised to use RedHat6.0 version of this server instead. It's
adopted for Mandrake and can be found at ftp.iplabs.ru (as said). I'm sure
ftp.redhat.com as well... I didn' change it as far as I use 800x600 and it
works OK. If anybody have this problem try this method.
