Hi, folks.

Short form question:
===================

Could some kind soul please tell me how to DISABLE all the new anti-spam
stuff in sendmail 8.9.3?

Long form of the same question:
===============================

Here's my setup:

- behind a firewall I pull mail from an internal POP server with
fetchmail.

- My $HOME/.forward is: "|procmail". (This works OK, but
"|/usr/bin/procmail" does not, because of the smrsh changes. I worked
that one out...)

- Incoming mailing lists are delivered to various files by procmail, the
rest falls through to /var/spool/mail/morton.

This used to work beautifully under whatever sendmail came with Redhat
5.2. But now, sendmail is tossing out almost everything which fetchmail
gives it:

Things coming from external mailing lists are suffering "Relaying
denied":

Aug 27 15:07:32 pwold011 sendmail[5897]: PAA05897: ruleset=check_rcpt,
arg1=<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>,
relay=IDENT:morton@localhost [127.0.0.1], reject=550
<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>... Relaying denied

They are also failing the sender domain checking:

Aug 27 15:38:44 pwold011 sendmail[6311]: PAA06311: ruleset=check_mail,
arg1=<applix.com!owner-applixware-list@appl
ix100.applix.com>, relay=IDENT:morton@localhost [127.0.0.1], reject=501
<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>... Sender domain
must exist

I futzed for ages with /usr/lib/sendmail-cf/cf/redhat.mc but could not
disable the new features. I ended up using the old Redhat 5.2
sendmail.cf!

I don't want to have to enter zillions of domain names in "/etc/mail/":
deny, ip_allow, name_allow, relay_allow.

Thanks.
