Yes you did. Try fetchmail with the option -k (k for keep, the messages
will be not deleted on the server, good for testing a new config) and
-vvvv for being very verbose. In my Mandrake 6.0 installation sendmail
denied the relaying acces on my own computer, that's was very funny. B-) I
used my sendmail.cf from my old Suse distribution. I restarted sendmail
and everything was fine.

The parameter for your localname is missin, but fetchmail will(???) assume
your username for it.

I think the faulty part of the system is /etc/sendmail.cf. But without
/var/log/mail is only guessing for beginnners. (Whow, is my english bad.
