How about archiving, I usually keep monthly backup of all my users
files.
Students comes and goes .. they sometime come back after a year or two.
I agree mirror is nice, that is a little bit why I got my RAID-5 in the
first place. I guess, I could buy two big IDE drives just to do my daily
backup (mirror), I may just do that.
For sure I will never mirror my files outside my office.
