[expert] is there an RPM availble for GTK 1.2.5?

Is there an rpm for gtk 1.2.5? I have been attempting to figure out a
problem that I am having with gnome and pixmap themes , wich slow the
window drawing down to a crawl and eventualy cause X to eat all availble
system ram and then crash. Someone in #gnome told me to try and upgrade
to 1.2.5 of gtk, but the only version I have found was for Redhat, I
know that it is suposed to be compatible, what other rpms would I have
to update to use it?

Any help would much be apreacted.
