After installing the iso of 6.1-1, I type
modprobe -c
and get a number of lines that refer to kernel 2.2.9-27mdk,
how could that be? I also get many messages that have to do
with modules during bootup.
I installed (not upgrade) on a drive where there was Mandrake
6.0-2 previously. Could it be that the boot record wants the
kernel from 6.0-2, or that I must erase it .. no..
Sorry if this has been discussed before on the list .. and
I am not near the machine in question, but will post the
exact messages I get if someone wants them.
