I have never seen thit console you're talking about, but I have ask some people
that it
would be nice to have something where you can 'monitor net traffic', a small
windows
in one corner. I spoke to Fyodor the creator of Nmap that would be nice to have
this.
to check your logs and have a 'live' mean of knowing what is going on on the net.
Actually see when someone is scanning your ports or connected to your box.
Some sort of combination of tools like iptraf, logcheck and maybe netstat in one
pachage.
