[expert] Samba and Ink Jet Printers

Has anyone successfully shared an inkjet printer attached to a Linux box
with Windows clients using Samba?

I have a printer that is attached to a Linux box through its printer port.
It works fine if I print from the Linux box but the Windows clients won't
attach.  They claim that the printer is off-line.

Any ideas?
