Benjamin,
Go to blackdown.org and get 1.1.7 v1a; it is the only one I know of that
works with StarOffice.  I installed just the JRE (it's all you need unless
you want to develop java apps).  Follow the instructions in the download
directory.  Don't forget to get the native threads package.
