$ export JAVA_HOME=/usr/local/jdk1.1.6
$ export PATH=$JAVA_HOME/bin:$PATH
$ export CLASSPATH=.:$JAVA_HOME/lib/classes.zip
to the profile file. However, may I, as a non-techie, please ask for
more precise instructions. Exactly which profile file: /etc/profile or
/home/sher/.bash_profile or some other profile file?
And where should I put it? At the end?
Since I run Netomat, the web browser on JRE 1.1.6
(http://www.netomat.net), should I be able to run StarOffice with the
same JRE 1.1.6 rpm?
