You have been had ... The celerons (at least the socket 370 ones)
support SMP, but
AFAIK Intel disabled (in the socket) a line from CPU to MB chipset,
activating
the SMP functions in the _chipset_.
So all what you need is a mainboard able to force this line (by BIOS or
jumper
or whatever). There are currently _many_ such boards, one of the best
known
being the Abit BP6 (which also has ATA/66 controller).
