        When done right it's an extremely functional system that provides
features I've not seen in Unix/Linux (scheduling, etc).  When done wrong
(like the way my company has deployed it) it can be quite frustrating to
deal with.  As with any MS product, you have to really be selective on the
users that you intend to support and the capability of the hardware.  The
way it's done here the systems probably spend more time mirroring email to
one another than they do actually delivering mail to end users - but then it
takes me 6 hops just to get out of my own domain! Ugh..... the joys of an
"NT based" IS team...

        Why does anyone pay per seat for anything???  I suppose it's due to
the -ahem- functionality of the client...
