Greetings, everyone.

I have sucessfully gotten my linux box set up and am able to connect to the MS
Exchange server to pull my mail. Many thanks to everyone that offered tips when
I asked for them a month ago.

I do have a few very minor issues. Not really problems, just questions. I am
able to use smbmount to mount shares on our NT servers, but I was wondering if
there is a way to automate this. I've read the smbmount, smbmnt, and smbclient
man pages and found nothing about it. If someone could point me to an FAQ or
HOW-TO, I'd really appreciate it.

I've installed Star Office to work with the MS document files everyone else
uses, but was wondering if someone had a better spreadsheet program than
StarCalc? I create a lot of fixed length ASCII files, and the easiest way I
know to check them has been to pull the file into Excel. I can't for the life
of me figure out how to pull an ASCII file into anything except the word
processor in SO. Or am I stuck until Corel finished porting the full WP Office
2000 to Linux?

And finally, I'm looking for a mail client that has a decent integrated address
book. I'm using Kmail right now, but don't care much for its addressing. The SO
mail system isn't bad, but I haven't figured out how to turn off the "Are you
sure you want to delete this message" dialog box. I've tried to install Adora,
but I get error messages about not connecting to the server, even though Kmail
will. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance for any help y'all can provide.

Wayne
