Hi
I do not know about the rest, but the "clock skew" is all too familiar to
me. I used to get a lot of these back in the dark ages when I first
started using the NFS. Having two machines with diferent idea of "NOW" is
the cause of such a problem.
Machine A thinks it is monday, machine B thinks it is thuesday,
so you start the work on "B", continue on "A" and the "make" gets
completely crazy. In such a case, just about anything can happen - make
will try its best to recompile only those files which have changed since
the last make - and find out that some of the files have
"modification dates in the future"...
In short: probably your time is lagging behind, and the sources are VERY
fresh. Try fixing your time.
hope this helps.
