install kernel 2.2.14-15mdk off your cdrom with kpackage.
edit your /etc/lilo.conf , where it says "2.2.14-1mdklinus"
change it to "2.2.14-15mdk ", then, at command line type "lilo" <enter>.
Reboot....
You can edit lilo with "klilo" too - in menu "system" from big K on kpanel,
or type "klilo" at command line - might be better, if you get somthing
wrong, it will give you an error message.
