Guillermo,
You could download the iso, then mount it like you would a regular volume,
then cp -R the files from the iso to a directory on your system. Here's
how to do the mount:
mkdir /mnt/loop
mount -o loop -t iso9660 [pathname]/mandrake61[whatever].iso /mnt/loop
cd /mnt/loop
cp -R * [insert your target directory here]
Clean up after yourself and you should be set.
