Hi all,
well I just want to know how to prevent my deamons from giving away their
identity.
I mean when telnetting to port 25 I get the response that sendmail version etc
is running. How to deactivate this message? I do no want the peaople to know
that I'm using sendmail or leafnode on port 119. Is it possible to hide this
from public? Is it worth it anyway? I mean due to security, if someone does not
know the software and version I'm running, it would be more difficult to find
an exploit, am I right?
