I just installed Apache and OpenSSL on a RedHat 6.1 machine this weekend
and have done it with a Mandrake 6.1 and 7.0 systems. All you need to do
is install the Apache RPM, the mod_ssl RPM, and the OpenSSL RPM (or
RPM(s) as the case may be) and you should be up and running quite easily
with a few modifications to httpd.conf.
