Seems to be some confusion about the latest retail versions of LM 7.0,
and since nobody from Mandrake has answered this thread, thought I'd make
note of the fact that on the LM 7.0 Deluxe box, distributed by Macmillan,
in small print in the lower right hand corner of the back of the box, it
says, "This product is the US version of the Linux Mandrake Power Pack,
distributed under license by Macmillan USA, Inc.". The Complete Linux
Mandrake 7.0, also distributed by Macmillan, is the successor to their
older Complete Linux 6.0/6.5, which has several of their Linux books on
CD's included, along with Partition Magic, etc. I've seen both versions
at CompUSA and Border's Books. It's apparent that, at least for
US distribution, Mandrake decided to work with Macmillan for the
distribution of both versions. No complaints here, 'cause I wanted the
PowerPack to fully update all the contribs, and it hit the stores right
when Mandrake said it would. The Deluxe version IS the Power Pack, and
has all the LM manuals and the full set of 6 CD's.
