Let me make sure I understand here... you're trying to boot
off a SCSI drive?
First off, do you have SCSI BIOS enabled on your controller?
Second, despite what you say about having compiled the
drivers into the kernel, it **LOOKS** like you've got
**modular** SCSI drivers instead. Try recompiling and make
SURE you've got the SCSI drivers built-in instead of
modular.
