[expert] Re(2): [newbie] Can't connect to the internet....

No matter what I try, I am still getting this error message:

May  3 14:22:52 localhost pppd[917]: The remote system is required to
authenticate itself but I couldn't find any secret (password) which would
let it use an IP address.

Can someone explain what this means?
