First off, deal with the tape using the no rewind device, /dev/nst0. The
device you are using (\dev\st0) will rewind the tape after each access. So
it will appear that you can only access the first archive.
Second, can you access the drive (using the no rewind device) with mt? If
so, you can use mt to move around from archive to archive.
