My *guess* is that the HD is NOT up to spec. WD drives,
I've read here (and other lists) are particularly prone to
having problems with the specs, as well as "signal
reflection". YMMV, but that's what I've read. I can't
confirm or deny, as my hardware doesn't support UDMA xfers.
