Tom you are absolutely correct. Every problem I have had thus far with
Mandrake installations have been self created due to ignorance of of the
subject or because of unsupported/conflicting hardware. In no case is the
problem a direct fault of a bad product released by Mandrake. There are too
many people successfully running 7.0-2 on machines similar to mine to
believe otherwise.
