One day when I get a separate machine (for testing purposes only)
I want to use it to test unstable releases of linux (any dist.)
I feel like I am not quite enough help on these lists and
I am always the one asking for help, but I wish there
were a way I could give back, but due to limited finds,
I can't help out as much as I want to.

I try to answer any questions that I know the answer to,
even if someone else does it too, after all 300 heads
are better than 3.

Sorry if I have not seemed to be much help lately,
on either the newbie list or the expert one,
but I would sure like to be as I learn more about the
Unix (or Linux in this case) o/s.

I will try not to bash windows on here even though
I do not care for it, since I don't have it on my machine
anymore, then I should not have to worry about disliking it.

I hope that all the help I have given in the past has
helped someone, I often feel kind of bad that I
see so many questions that only of which a few I can
answer, and sometimes snooping through this list has
taught me about imwheel and its funky little pid file
whom sometimes needs a swat on the bottom, and
the cron stuff, and other long threads with so many
different opinions offered, the more that are offered
the broader of an image I get, that is why I am waiting
before I download 7.1 to sit back and see how many
opinions I can collect before making the decision to
install, I am comfortable with my 7.0-2 it works
good enough for me and unless I am falling so far behind
in features that my machine is not (softwareically speaking)
usable anymore, then and only then do I do an upgrade.

But, if I get a test machine someday, that would
kick bottom and I could help out more than I do
now, and report all the weird things that go on,
from the test machine, and then I could help the
Mandrake (or other dists that I happened to be
subscribed to) teams in improving things that
they and the linux community thought needed
improvement.

But in the meantime, if I see a question that
I know the answer to, I will continue to volunteer
info that I have, even if I am unsure about it,
which I will say so and ask for further input on,
even if someone else has answered it, well I do
confess that I am prone to jumping the gun,
and just answering as soon as the mail scrolls by
in K mail.

Sorry for such a long letter and I apologise if
I have wasted any bandwidth.

Long live Linux and Unix.
