Was looking at the 1386 version of 2.1.3-19 from rpmfind.net, and downloaded that along with the devel and profile packages. As for the source compile, several friends on IRC Said it was kinda difficult, and the glibc How-to didn't help matters, as it talked mainly about going from libc5 to glibc2. I tried to compile an SRPM, but that FG error stumped me and searches for a solution on google proved futile. I figured that since Mandrake is a derivative of redhat, the rpm would work.. --Kumba --- Vincent Danen <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > On Sat Sep 09, 2000 at 10:45:01AM -0700, Kumba > wrote: > > > I've got Mandrake 7.0-i486 running, and I wanna > > upgrade my glibc packages from 2.1.2-10 to > 2.1.3-19, > > or whatever the latest build is, and I can only > find > > rpm's for i586 class from Mandrake's site.
