If gcc was not present sure I could not get anything compiled... But this problem seems to affect only certain RPMS and not others. I think it could be a RPM issue, since I do not get the same error trying to compile directly (not using rpm, but "simulating" it with the .spec file). Any idea?!?! Are others experincing the same problem?
